Day 1 & 2 - Windhoek
Today you will be met, in the arrivals hall of the Hosea Kuutako International airport by your Exotic Travel & Safari representative/guide, who will work through the itinerary with you and answer any questions you may have regarding the coming days, once all your questions have been answered you will depart towards Karibib Area, near Wilhelmstal. Covering an area of 18,000 hectares, Okomitundu offers a wide range of leisure options such as safaris, archery and riding. The farms vast and varied landscape provides a unique diversity of wild animals and plants. You will enjoy a guided farm tour between two to three hours. You will be taken out in an open cross-country vehicle through Okomitundu, giving you an open view and allowing you to feel the wind in your face and savour the scents of the savannah. You can listen to bird calls, crickets and cicadas and of course observe many wild animals in their natural habitat. For example kudu, oryx, mountain zebra, ostrich and other smaller species such as guinea fowl, baboons, squirrels - and with a little luck also cheetahs, black eagle, klipspringer and many more. Day 3 - Karibib-Damaraland
After breakfast at the Lodge, continue on your journey to Omaruru where a stop will be made to visit the Kristal Kellerie. Kristall Kellerei started its operations in 1990, year of Namibian Independence. In 1995 first harvest was collected. The winery has 4 hectares under 2 different kinds of wines, the Colombard and Ruby Cabernet. At present the Kristall wine cellar is the first and the only wine cellar in Namibia. Little wine tavern has been opened in 2000. Wine and light meals can be ordered and tour around a wine yard and cellar provided. You will have an opportunity to taste some of fine wines.Proceed with your journey to Damaraland. Upon arrival at Mowani Mountain Camp, Time Permitting, this afternoon you may join the Lodge on an afternoon excursion to the Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes. (Time Permitting)

Day 4 - Damaraland
After breakfast you will depart, with your guide on an excursion to Namibia’s Unesco World Heritage site at Twyfelfontein, where in excess of 2,500 bushman paintings and rock engravings have been identified, including The White Lady. Returning to the Lodge in the afternoon, you are welcome to join in any of the activities offered by the Lodge. Or Simply relax and enjoy the facilities at your Lodge. Mowani Mountain Camp consists of 12 luxury tents, all with en-suite facilities, decorated beautifully in East African style. The luxury tents are a great source of relaxation. Comfortably hidden in your own private hide-away, you will be pampered by crisp white linen, en-suite bathrooms, and of course your own wooden deck offering an open view of the wonderful Damara landscape.

Day 5 - Damaraland-Swakopmund
Depart from Damaraland towards the coastal town of Swakopmund. En route you will visit Cape cross and it’s seal Colony. The main attraction for tourists at Cape Cross is the seal colony and an interesting history of this place. The first European landed On Namibian soil was Portuguese explorer Diego Cao (1486) who erected the first stone cross in honour of King Johannes of Portugal. It was tradition for the Portuguese to build a cross where ever they landed.The seal colony at Cape Cross is the breeding place of the Cape fur seals, which are actually a species of sea lion. Along the Namibian and South African coast there are 24 colonies with a seal population of about 650 000 animals. At Cape Cross live about 80000 to 100 000 seals. They are slightly reduced every year because they are still desired and apparently they eat too much fish. Arrival in Swakopmund will be in the early afternoon which will be spent at leisure, exploring the quaint Germanic town of Swakopmund, or quad biking in the dune belt just south of Swakopmund (not included). Dinner will be at a local restaurant, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 6 - Swakopmund - Namib Desert
After breakfast at the lodge you will depart, towards Namib Desert area. En route visit the Welwitchia Plant and moonlandscape. The Welwitschia mirabilis plant (often mis-spelled Welwitchia) has only two leaves and can live for over a thousand years. It is found in parts of Namibia and Angola. The moonscape is a totally barren, undulating, rocky desert which was formed by the valleys of the Swakop River. Proceed to Namib Desert area where your overnight will be at Desert Homestead Lodge. The Lodge lies at a wide grassy valley is sheltered by the Nubib, Tsaris and Naukluft mountains with a view reaching the distant dunes of the Namib Desert in the west. In this exquisite position, we offer simple but stylish accomodation in thatched chalets which were designed with the fragile beauty of this remarkable environment in mind. The Desert Homestead will ensure you an unrivalled respite from the desert extremes. Tranquil surroundings, Alfresco dining, delectably fresh farm cuisine, refreshing dips in the pool, stunning sunsets and sunrises are the basic pleasures at the Lodge. You have the possibility of participating on horse-riding, nature drive within the private reserve, guided walks, all activities can be arranged directly with the Lodge.

Day 7 & 8 - Namib Desert
This morning requires an early rise, for an excursion, into the World renowned Sossusvlei area. This area is home to The World’s oldest desert, as well as some of the World’s highest sand dunes. This morning will be spent exploring the wonders of the area, from the eerily named Dead Vlei, to the massive star-shaped sand dunes and the Sesriem Canyon, so named because it took early pioneers six lengths of rawhide thongs, tied together, to reach the water in the canyon below. In the afternoon you proceed to Zebra River Lodge. Situated near the Tsaris Mountains, Zebra River Lodge is unique and has fascinating geology, archaeology, and palaeontology. The area is also the perfect spot for the birdwatchers as there is an abundance of birdlife. In the evening once again your professional chef will be ready to embark with you upon yet another mouth watering cuisine experience.

Day 9 - Namib Desert - Windhoek
This morning you will return to the capital city of Windhoek, in the Heart of the Country. A township tour of Katutura will be undertaken. Katutura meaning (a place where we do not want to live) in Otjiherero was declared a township for local indigenous people in 1959 during apartheid era. Before that the local indigenous people used to live in a location which today we call Hochland Park. The decision to dislocate the people to Katutura was greatly opposed for practical and logical reasons, but the decision was made and the people had to move. Find out the history and background of this lively township which people today call (a place where we want to live) this tour is very informative and educational and you will visit Katutura open market; Informal settlement and Penduka Women project. A sundowner drink will be enjoyed at a selected spot in Windhoek, and tonight you will enjoy a gourmet fairwell Dinner at the Gatheman Restaurant.

Day 10 - Windhoek Departure
Transfer to the Hosea kutako International Airport in time for your flight out.
